Pearl Spiller is the Head of Design at the Knowledge Translation Unit (KTU).  She joined the KTU as the first in-house graphic designer in 2014. 

Pearl ensures that all projects are finished to the highest visual standard possible. Whether guides, presentations, manuals or online training courses, she is involved in making the product appealing and, more importantly, the material as user-friendly as possible. She is responsible for the brand of each programme or project and has a hand in all visual aspects of the KTU and what it produces. Recently her role has expanded to include systems optimisation within the KTU and supporting others to learn skills to improve their productivity and performance.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Pearl and her team played a vital role in the creation and responsiveness of the WCG’s community communications material.

Pearl also formed part of the localisation teams for PACK Adult in Brazil, Nigeria and Ethiopia. 

She is passionate about making material accessible and attractive under time and resource restrictions.
