Candice Daniels is the Learning Innovation Manager at the Knowledge Translation Unit (KTU) and has been part of the team since 2021.

She is currently involved with expanding the KTU online learning platform to support the growing need for remote learning. Her role includes developing, supporting and evaluating training programmes, both online and face-to-face, for healthcare workers and students.

Candice gained her clinical experience in emergency, chronic conditions, and palliative care while working in the Eastern and Western Cape Provinces of South Africa (SA). She has also taught diverse groups of students, including home-based carers and healthcare workers, as well as medical students at the School of Public Health and Family Medicine at UCT.

She is passionate about empowering health workers to provide quality care effectively in their communities through learning and development opportunities.
